5W News

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday on our Boston field trip!  It was an awesome day!

The end of the year is upon us and we are busier than ever!  We are still uncovering the events of the American Revolution, reading for our book groups and writing an informational piece on the American Revolution.  We will have our last math test next week on multiplying and dividing fractions.  We will also try to squeeze some ecology in there, too!

As June begins we will begin working on our class play- "Revivor: Constitution" as we learn about our nation forming a government.  We will also be forming construction teams to construct toothpick bridges to see who can create the strongest bridge!

Here are the events for the rest of the year:
June 1- Grandparent lunch
June 4 and 5- Nurse Lily talk on puberty
June 8- CMS guidance visits us
June 11- Field day
June 12- Odiorne Point field trip (all are welcome to attend and meet us there)
June 15- Field trip to CMS
June 18- Play and bridge presentation 11:30 in our classroom
June 18- 5th grade celebration 6:30 cafeteria
June 19- last day and final walk out of the school at 2:30
