- Estimated quotients to division problems
- Did division problems with decimal divisors
- Took our 13 colonies quiz
- Toured the Mayflower
- Looked at the Mayflower Compact
- Learned about the different parts of the respiratory system
- Created a question about the respiratory system for our inquiry projects
- Began our nonfiction reading unit
- Previewed our nonfiction texts, tapped our prior knowledge and made predictions
- Paused and summarized our nonfiction texts as we read
- Found key details in our text to support the main ideas
- Began research on whether schools should serve chocolate milk or not
- Collected evidence to think through the various sides of the argument for chocolate milk

- Early release next Wednesday, December 17th
- Yankee book swap on Tuesday, December 23rd followed by a movie and popcorn
