The countdown is on! It's been a busy week in 5V! We have been singing songs, building toothpick bridges, writing stories, listening to Revolutionary War presentations and creating pages in our altered books. We have been having fun!
There has been a lot of talk about transitioning to CMS and most of the discussions revolve around being excited. This week we blogged about sixth grade and we are excited to be getting comments from fifth graders in Kensington and Brentwood. Next week, we will comment on their posts about CMS. It's been great to collaborate with other kids in our SAU who will be making the same transition.
This time of year is a special time in fifth grade as we are all excited about new beginnings and at the same time feeling nostalgic about our time together.
We have a lot of upcoming activities! We hope to see you on field day, at our play presentation in our class and at Odiorne. Here is a list of everything coming up:
June 4- grandparents lunch
June 7- field day
June 11 at 1:30- 5V altered book museum and play performance
June 13- Odiorne field trip
June 13- 5th grade celebration at 6:30 pm
June 14- last day of school
